Non-Bahamian nationals who are desirous of living and working in the Bahamas must seek authorization from the Department of Immigration in the form of a residence permit. Permanent residence is available to those who purchase a home of minimum value of five hundred thousand Bahamian dollars (B$500,000). General Information

The Commonwealth of the Bahamas consists of more than 700 sun-kissed cays spanning over 100,000 square miles of ocean with the most populated areas being Nassau/New Providence, and Freeport/Grand Bahama.
